Score! I've had it stuck in my head for days, so it was actually the inspiration for the whole challange.

I'm a little surprised no one's got 4 or 8 yet. I did figure 2 and 10 might be stumpers.

#2: originally recorded by a New Romantic band in the early '80s; recently covered by Nouvelle Vauge

#10: written by the pride of New Zealand (and the man I have had a crush on for even longer than Paul Weller!) and recorded with his second band.

Gah. 10 is obviously Crowded House, but I can't remember the song. (I scanned the lyrics for Crowded House/Neil Finn straightaway, but didn't catch this one.)

Yep, that's right, pup. (Man, I just realized that I didn't pick any songs that were recorded since the early '90s. yeesh, I've really become that middle-aged person who's locked into the music of her youth, haven't I? As least I love the new Neko Case!)
