Celine Dion is painful. She is SUCH a tacky train wreck that I struggle to look away from. Sure, she's got a great singing voice, but man alive I don't like it. Her stage antics in the first video make me cringe!

She is an odd one. She does have a great voice but there's just something off about her.

I second box's recommendation (this is the book). I read it after box mentioned it to me, and I found it to be an amazing look at how and why we form aesthetic choices. Really, really good.
