Whose Post Is This Anyway? Game →[More:] Inspired by the LT/Miko mix-up down the page, compose a paragraph in the style of a frequent metachat poster/comment maker.

For some structure and to hopefully prevent hurt feelings, the topic is set. You may choose from: a - What is the meaning of identity? or b - My favorite dessert.

Comment away, no need to guess the first one first - we can go back and guess as they come.

I wonder if this will work at all.

Today I went down to the corner bar and they had the new Salt and Vinegar Utz Pork chips. While I was there, this old guy who I'd seen at the bookstore, looks up and says to me,

"You know, that Salinger you left in my bag was given to me by my brother before he got shipped off. I'm glad you didn't take it after all, because his widow came by this morning and started crying when she saw it, so I gave it to her. You're alright, man, you're alright..."

So I went home and played this in his honor.

I just ate an entire Tiramisu that was meant to serve four people and I have this crush on this guy and I married and my kid just sprayed pee all over my new shower curtain and I'm kind of disenchanted with life and what should I do about it? What does it mean to really be in love?

I ask because last week I was hanging around with the guys, and there is this one girl who sometimes comes around, she's the cousin of one of my friends, and there is this contact that seems to tell me it is true love but I would like to hear from you guys if it is real.

I dream about us being together and all of my time is spent wondering if she'll show up next time, and even though we haven't spoken I think it might be true love. there was this one time that we were all talking about a film, and my cousin made a comment and then she laughed, and I laughed at the same time and there was this connection that I could really feel, like we were made for each other. So is that true love? Would it be OK to buy her flowers? Is that something women like when they are in true love? Because I sent three dozen and now she isn't coming around so often and I am thinking that maybe it is because she has such strong feelings about our relationship.

Tonight I wanted to make gumbo, and when I began the basic roux I found that we were out of butter. You can't even buy shortening or lard here, so I thought that oil would do in a pinch. The oil and flour didn't mix well at all, it looked like a disaster but after I added the shrimp, gumbo and all the vegetables I had in the house it came out yummy!

(I'm hungry now)
