Sign Language Bunnies→[More:]This site has everything - hosted by geocities, with misplaced apostrophes and .gifs so bad they're marvellous.
The only disappointment is that the author's 'Art' page is no longer available. I bet it was fab.
Actually, I think we should adopt that sign, like a secret masonic signal. It'd be an easy way to spot fellow bunny people at a meetup, if you just wander round the pub sticking two fingers up at everyone. You're bound to meet friends that way ...
The only sign I know is Danish sign-language for "Swedish". You hold your left hand up and with your right grab the shirtbutton on the sleeve. This cracks me up. Why that is "Swedish" I have no idea.
Signs come from funny places like that, Dabithch. If it's American Sign Language it probably refers to the button because Swedish cuff buttons or cuff-links where popular or well known as Swedish at the time the sign was "invented."
I like the sign for Germany, myself. Think of one of those German helmets with the spike on the top. Extend your right index finger as if to point up but rest the heel of your hand on the top front of your head. Make sure it is the top front of your head, though. Because If you put your hand to your forehead - the back of your thumb touching your forehead - then you're saying Dick-head (in ASL).
