Amy Bennett makes oil paintings of suburban scenes that look like dioramas, or dollhouses. I'm really not sure WHAT'S going on in that one with the pool. It's called "Losing It," which could be interpreted a couple of different ways.

These are the largest versions I could find... even on her website, they're kinda small.

Actually, reading the interview on taz's link is pretty cool too. To read that she built a neighbourhood out of train set houses and string, and foam, and small model cars, etc...pretty cool.
