Remember these frozen soap bubbles? I tried photographing some tonight, and it ain't easy.[More:]

I was having a hell of a time with the focusing, but after nearly 100 shots I got a few good ones.

What temperature was it when you tried?

It was about -13°F while we were out doing this. They would have frozen faster if it had been colder (more like -25), or if they had been blown more straight up because frozen bubbles sink pretty quickly.

Heh, chewie, it'll only feel cold enough to do that there. When I was there last January, it was pretty darn cold, but not too bad by the thermometer. I've felt warmer here when it was 5 degrees.
