It's actually not too bad to sell a home here in Fort Worth. Values were never too far above the real worth, so home prices have dropped less than 10% locally.

Still, we have our share of repos.

As much as i like parts of Texas, the heat would be a bit much for me. i figure that if candles melt in my car in early spring, it's a might too warm for me.
i'd visit, though.

I bought a house 1 year ago. Interest rates are way down. Get pre-qualified for a home loan, and start looking. Lots of great, affordable houses out there. I found my house on Craigslist. I get twinges of buyer's remorse when I'm not home, but when I'm at home with a fire in the woodstove and a great view in front of me, I'm so happy I bought it. Someday I may even unpack some boxes.
