40 year old zeitgeist?

I actually looked to see if the moon is in the seventh house and didn't have much luck. I think it may have been earlier this month, I don't really understand all that stuff.

I also found out the guy who played the Valley Girl's hippy dad played the character Chef in Apocalypse Now. That was driving me crazy. If I learn anything else today I may have to do something stupid to make up for it.

I remember watching the movie version of Hair when it came out, well probably a year later on HBO, and thinking that it looked like dusty ancient history even though it was only set ten years earlier. Would a movie set in 1998 look that different than 2008?
