Richmond Spiders 2008 NCAA Division I Football Champions →[More:] Yeah. They have a playoff system. C'mon man, lets get a playoff system for the big schools! This is really awesome - the seven seed beat the five seed (University of Montana - props) for the championship tonight. Go my Home Team!

Ok, my adopted home town team. I have heard that they are the only college who are the "spiders." Can't confirm or deny. The town is very excited toady. Yay netbros!

I could care less about college football but I watched some of this with a warm baby on my lap and we were both instant fans because of the mascot.

As far as mascots go, Virginia or otherwise, I'm with Sweet Briar College all the way.
