OMG Recall! ...or, the power of the intarwebz! →[More:]

So, you know my bicycle, the one I bought Labor Day weekend? I found out through BikeForums.net that there is a recall on the Shimano cranks on the bike. Apparently they can break for no apparent reason, which, when you think about it, could really hurt!

This is why the internet rocks. If not for the net, I'd be riding a time bomb without knowing it.

My bike brand was on the list. Oddly enough, I had to have a crank replaced a month or two after buying the bike.
