Man, that's a beautiful ad. [More:]

Wish the last line didn't have to be there, but yeah, I cried.
I found those ads to be quite powerful as well. I really liked the tag, "Go World" at the end. I have long suspected that advertising agencies not only employ bright and clever people to create ads, but also psychologists and personality profilers who know JUST how to push the right buttons. I feel manipulated, but it feels sooooo good.

I remember when those ads were running thinking how well done they put the whole thing together. It was nice to see it again.

I remember crying when I watched Derek Redmond in that race. I'm a sucker for things like that. I always cry when people get their medals too.

Somewhere out there, there is a picture of Andrei Tchmil beside the road at the Driedaagse after his fall with a look of misery on his face that still haunts me. He was such a hard, tough man it was impossible to imagine.
