Okay, well my area of interest is loneliness, and its function as a social taboo. We all know it exists, we have all experienced it, but it's forbidden for a person to say they're lonely. Other people feel uncomfortable to hear someone admit, and don't know how to react to it. I kind of want to bust that up a bit.

More generally, I'm really interested in emotional taboos -- admitting weakness, being extremely honest, unrequited love, saying embarrassing things... emotional vulnerability...

Oh and while my life could serve as a performance piece on embarrassment and unrequited love, I'm thinking more of the visual or aural arts.

I'm reminded of the Post Secret website, so if you solicited postcards like that, you could turn them into dramatic readings?

I guess part of what I want to achieve is facing the stigma... anonymity kind of opposes that. Besides, the postcard thing has been so done and done.
