Carrot & Jerusalem Artichoke Soup: I freestyled at the stove this evening and it was awesome.
→[More:]Since It was freestyle, I can't really give you a recipe but I can tell you this:
2kg of peeled and chopped carrots
about 4 fat handfuls of peeled and chopped Jerusalem artichokes
2 small sauteed onions
1lr chicken broth
about a half cup of orange juice
bunch o' spices
Tons o' awesome
Boil it all up and purée it with a
Stabmixer.
Served with a glass of white wine.
Mmmmm... Lecker!
I never had
Jerusalem artichokes before. My colleague gave me a bunch yesterday. They have kind of a potato-like taste.
