1980s retro! [More:]Rick Astley made his well-known pop hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" in 1987. At the time many people couldn't believe it was sung by a skinny white guy.

This song has become associated with an Internet meme called "rickrolling", in which a supposedly interesting or salacious link actually leads to the music video for this song.

What does Mr. Astley think of this?

What does the Church of Scientology think of this?
The original Astley video was released right before the Junk Bond Bubble/S&L Crisis that was the most major financial crisis of the decade. The "RickRolling" phenomenon that propagated the video on thousands (millions?) of places on the Internet began right before the SubPrime Loan/Real Estate Bubble/Banking Crisis that is the biggest financial crisis since the Great Drepression.

Coincidence? I think not.
