what are these? [More:]i've been scoping out the hurricane area in google earth and i spotted these zig-zag things in a bayou. anyone know what they are?
They look like a giant heel print from a boot.

My only guess is artificial reefs. I don't know why they would show up so prominently though, so this probably is an incorrect guess.

This thread here suggests some kind of barrier. There's the close up (zoom out if no image appears) on google maps that looks similar.
