Taking a page from BP's post, here's a bunch of music.

First off is the Some Bizarre label compilation from 1985 with the totally wonderful and totally true title of If You Can't Please Yourself, You Can't Please Your Soul^wiki. There's a lot of different stuff on this, so if one track leaves you cold, others might not. The tracks go from the weird (Psychic TV), to the industrial (Test Dept), to the pleasant (Virginia Astley), so there's something here for everyone.

As an additional bonus, the Coil track (The Wheel) I've decided to remix slightly, as the beginning should've been longer, IMHO.

For those who want a soundtrack to work out with, I've put together a 23 minute dance thing (22meg!) with Justice, Acid Jacks and others (tracklist). Could've been mixed tighter and the ending is abrupt, but it's been a shitty week.

Should've mentioned - the compilation is complete and ripped from my vinyl so there may be some minor aural ambiguities inherent in the tracks.

This is probably a little overkill, but a young friend of mine recently asked about Laurie Anderson's United States Live, so I uploaded all four CD's worth for him. I say it's overkill because all he asked was "Who is Laurie Anderson?" and I sent him this album which is more than any new fan should have to digest, and yet, it IS her magnum opus, so why not start him there?
