Not just for the sake of nostalgia, but because Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is a humanizing force that really doesn't have any equal in the 21st century. I'm sure the folks at PBS are tired of hearing the same episodes over and over, but every time an episode airs, some kid is seeing it for the first time.

Fred Rogers saw how TV could be used as a force for good (that clip makes me cry every time I watch it). He was a master of the art form. If you live in the US and are so inclined, contact your local station and ask them to keep these shows available for the next generation.
