'tis, rmless, indeed it is. Clean, sunny, people are friendly and it's about as safe as a large-ish city can be. sure we could do with less sprawl and about 15° cooler in Fahrenheit increments however I think lots of other north american cities are dealing with those issues too right now, so I won't be picky.
This is so funny. I was just chatting with my SO last night about the possibility of leaving Texas in the next year or so, and what we would need to do to prepare for it. The two cities I brought up (all things considered) were St. Louis and Denver. Maybe if I send her this link, she'll cotton up to the idea a little more.
BoPo, I won't argue, since I don't personally know. I bet there are a few casino towns in the central mountains 'round these parts that could give old Savannah a run for her money, tho.
ufez, CF, mykescipark, bring it (and yourselves)! Things haven't been quite the same here since -t went walkabout.
which reminds me, I need to get my butt in gear and start planning another Denver meetup.
Denver, drunkest? I have some trouble seeing it. Okay, after reading the article, let's say I have some issues with their ranking methodology. Take a look at the rest of the top ten, and see if you agree with me:
Anchorage, AK
Colorado Springs, CO
Omaha, NE
Fargo, ND
San Antonio, TX
Austin, TX
Fresno, CA
Lubbock, TX
Milwaukee, WI
the list is a lie... my city ranks number three. our last call is four am!
we can just handle our shit better, I guess. That comes from drinking at a seventy-second grade level. The chart seems to be of cities that excel in liver failure and drunken tangos between suvs and guard rails.
also, like cmonkey, I want the two out of three trophy. How about a hot guy brings me a cheeseburger and a beer?
