Song Hunting Frustration. [More:] I've posted before about trying to find songs that seem to be just out of reach (the Lovedolls "Pearls At Swine," Jerry Dale McFadden's "Country Beats The Hell Out Of Me.")

Today, some synapse in my brain made me remember a song called "If We Never Meet Again" which was recorded by a guy named Jules and a guy named Jools. I can't find either of their versions, but I have Tommy Conwell's cover enqueued. But for some reason I've been unable to find Conwell's near-miss of a hit single, "I'm Not Your Man." It's a weird frustrating world.
It's like when Mooney found Please, Mr. Please on 45 for me. (Okay, maybe not.)

I feel your pain, jonmc. I desperately want the song, "Ooo...Aaah" by Jakki O. The only way to obtain it is by purchasing Art Laboe's 60 Killer Oldies for forty bucks.

OMG. YouTube has it. It was added one month ago. I still want it as an MP3. I'll settle for the YouTube for now.

Good luck with your song search, jonmc.
