That is so scary. It's nice to read that there was a happy ending. It's not easy for him or his family, I'm sure, but it's wonderful they were able to reattatch the arm, and that he is alive.

One more reason for me not to take up surfing! I think he's used up an awful lot of luck, coming through that in the shape he has.
