Is it just me or is Lou Dobbs a total asshole? →[More:]
I'm not a big CNN watcher but I've caught a few moments of his show a few times recently and all he does is berate and talk over his guests and tell us why he's always right. I can't see any merit in his show at all. It's not just me, is it?

CNN has sunk pretty low these days. I've gave up on TV news completely a few years ago; if it's not right-wing blather, it's ridiculous over-coverage of some local crime story.

Probably the oddest thing about Lou Dobbs is my friend, who is an unabashed liberal, is way into him and it's because of his rage against immigration. It kind of seems an oxymoron.

Lou Dobbs is like a dumber, less charismatic version of O'Reilly. A couple years ago I used to watch O'Reilly just for laughs (it's the Colbert Report, directly from the source), but Dobbs's one-note right-wing drivel is so annoying that I can't stand even looking at his face on a muted TV (in restaurants, airports, etc).

I've never seen his show, but his CNN.com commentaries make me foam at the mouth. He's entitled to his opinion, but as a humanist I can't stand people who have not an ounce of compassion for their fellow humans.
