Stolen From Tony Levin Acquired at a King Crimson concert at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI. August 6, 1982. →[More:]One of the best concerts I have ever been to.

When one of my companions saw I got Tony's bass pick, he became jealous and kept gesturing to Adrian Belew to throw him his pick (we were leaning on the stage). Adrian threw his pick to my friend who later lost it. He wrote to Adrian c/o Island Records asking for a new one. A few weeks later he got another in the mail with a nice handwritten note from Mr. Belew.

Anyone here have any good stories of guitar picks, sweat-soaked scarves, etc. procured at concerts?

I've got Billy Bragg's towel from his recent gig here. Not really all that rock'n'roll, though... as it was pretty much mint.

Has impressed a couple of houseguests though... offering the big towel, or Billy Bragg's towel.

Tony Levin tried to pick up my then-girlfriend. We were backstage at a Peter Gabriel show - she'd won passes in a "Shock The Monkey" display contest - and the fucker asked her back to the hotel after the show. In front of me. While I was marvelling at his bald head and the forest of hair growing out of his ears. (Peter Gabriel, by comparison, was quite shy; he shook our hands and asked my girlfriend what she'd done to him to win the contest.)

So I guess that's as close as I've gotten to "stolen (by) Tony Levin".
