Any Atlanta Mechazens going to Radiohead on Thursday? →[More:]I'll be there! Driving in that evening and leaving early the next morning. I'm available for dinner and drinks pre-show, and drinks and drinks post-show. Plus, you'll get to meet my friend Joe Bob. (Yes, really.)

We're staying at the downtown Holiday Inn, and we plan to park there and cab it around that night.

C'mon, it'll be fun.

It's at the Lakewood Amphitheater, which I am given to understand was formerly known as the Hi-Fi Buys Amphitheater. I've never been there. But I hear it's a pretty good place to see a show.

I'm not going to the show, but I might be up for drinks beforehand! It's also possible Ardiril will be here (if I understand his itinerary correctly.

Cool. What's a good place for a cold beverage and a hot meal? I think we'll have time for a leisurely pint or three before the show -- we should be there and ready to go out by 4:30 or so. Bonus points if the place has Old Peculier -- there's exactly one bar in Birmingham that has it, and it's always skunked because no one orders it but me.

I'll look for a good place for us... I work downtown but never really hang around late enough to try any of the bars and such. I know several new bars and restaurants have opened up in the area, though, so I'll investigate. :)

I can't find their beer list, but I've been wanting to try the rooftop bar at this hotel, which is just like a block or two from where you are at the Holiday Inn (and is right across the street from me at work... I can see it out my window).

Dude, it's Atlanta. Bars will let in anybody willing to pay for their drink. ;)

While we sit up there, I can tell you a hilarious story about what a friend of mine found when they were tearing down all the buildings around it. Remind me.
