During MeFi's downtime today (Read: interruption of my very important and hard-earned procrastination time), it occurred to me that I'd signed up to metachat ages ago, but had never contributed (ridiculous, I know). I'm planning to change this. →[More:]

I'm pretty excited to see some of my favorite ex-mefites participating here, too. It seems ridiculous, given the limited online interactions we've had, but I've missed hearing your "voices," so to speak. But yay for your being here!

Wow, this "Hi, my name is ______" isn't sounding as inspired as I hoped it might. :-/ So, in an attempt at saving it, a short and sad tale:

A few weeks ago, I drove a sizeable distance to Pasadena to pick up a pint (okay, two pints) of this glorious ice cream: yummmmmm. Several days later, however, I realized that my reintroduction of dairy to my diet was the source of my gastrointestinal woe. So now I have two pints of this delicious ice cream that I can't touch sitting in my freezer. :(

Also, firefox is telling me that "sizeable" is not the correct spelling, but I refuse to use "sizable" because it looks incredibly awkward.
