MeСha Russophones: How do I complement someone's dumpling-making skills? →[More:]
So on Sunday, I'm going to the home of one of the maintenance people at the school where I work, as she's invited a bunch of the expat teachers over to learn how to make
pelmeni, which are the pierogi/ravioli/potsitcker/dumpling variant in this part of the world. Her main language is Russian.
I'd love to bite into one of our handmade delights and exclaim my thanks for her instructional prowess - something like, "Wow, these are delicious - you're a better teacher than we are!"
