One of the Many Reasons I love my Daughter [More:]We were in the doctor's office waiting for a confirmation of the pink eye diagnosis (I strongly suspect Scott Baio). Alice picked up a copy of Green Eggs and Ham and proceeded to "read" it by herself. This was part of her dialog:

Could car? (flip)
Nooooo (flip)
Could tree? (flip)
Nooooo (flip)
Could (t)rain?
Nooooo (flip)
etc.

It was both beautiful and hilarious.
Aw, that is so sweet, plinth. Kids are so sweet and amazing. They say and do the funniest, sweetest, most amazing things.

Tonight my nephew, who can barely speak because of his autism, signed and sung "Where is Thumkin?" We were all glued to him with massive grins on our faces.

Isn't that what "enjoy the silence" is all about? "All I ever wanted, All I ever needed, is here, in my arms...."

Yep. Absolutely. Until they turn 20 and get into their third traffic accident....
