Tasty Treats My new favorite party munchie: Pretzels + Rolos + Pecans. Mmmm. →[More:]

These are so tasty and easy. Get pretzels in the little grid shape like these, a bag of Rolo candies, and some pecan halves. Place Rolos on pretzels, bake @ 325 for no more than 3 minutes, then squish a pecan half on top. So. good.

A friend of mine does the same thing with mini pretzels, hershey's hugs(?) and pecans. Everything she makes goes great with cheap beer.
Kettle corn also goes great with cheap beer.

My consumption of cheap beer is zero when i don't go visit.

viachicago, my sister makes these every year for Christmas. They are very good and addictive.

She also makes a candy with saltines. I think they're called Cracker Candy.

Grease a jelly roll pan with butter. Line entire bottom with saltine crackers. in saucepan, melt 2 sticks butter. Stir in 1 cup brown sugar. Boil 3 minutes. Pour over crackers evenly. Bake at 400 degrees for 4 minutes. Sprinkle 2 cups chocolate chips. Spread with knife. Place in freezer until set. Break up into pieces.
