I am sick sick sick →[More:]I think I have caught one of those terrible flu bugs. Yesterday I was awake for a total of four hours. I can barely keep my eyes open now, and it hurts to look at the screen. I have barely eaten.

I am terrified mrs. tr33, who as most of you know is approaching third trimester, will catch it from me.

Sick, tired, hurting all over.

You know how these bugs work? By the time your symptoms appear, if anyone else around you is going to get it, well, they'd have got it before your first sneeze. As I understand it, that's how these things operate - it's too late to worry. So please don't worry, just take care of yourself. Mrs tr33 will be just fine, I bet.

Impractical Nurse Me believes if you're not vomiting or having bathroom issues, it's not the flu. I forget where you are, but there are terrible upper resperatory infections (colds) involving fever and cough going around this area. Maybe it's that, which wouldn't be as hard on the other tr33hggrs as the flu might be. Take care of yourself, sorry you're down!

Bah, I'm sick, too. We should have a special room in the Mecha Mansion for people who are sick- lots of squishy couches and soft, warm blankets, juice on tap, and a TiVo full of comfort TV.

Oh noes. I really hope mrs tr33 doesn't get it - I had one a couple of weeks ago and there is nothing like the flu to make you feel totally and utterly helpless and miserable when you are pregnant.

It was really horrible.

Thanks all. A little better today, at least there's that. And so far my better half seems mostly unaffected.
