I just gots a flamingo. My best friend stopped by the house with this...→[More:]over the years she has made a habit of gifting me with flamingoes...I have suddenly realized that each has been, well, LARGER than the last.

She is absolutely the coolest friend anyone could ever have. Who else would buy flamingoes for a 49 year old?

Hmm--is it a fuzzy/soft flamingo or a plastic one? I can't tell from the photo.

OMG FLAMINGO.

Seriously, I love flamingos. Whenever I get my own house, I'm putting at least 1 in the yard. Possibly more than 1. Fighting with lawn gnomes.

Oriental Trading Company has flamingo lawn ornaments. I wish very badly that I had a lawn of my very own :-(

I have two of the regular lawn ornaments in my back yard-not displayed, just leaning up against the house waiting for me to clean them up and find a place for 'em.
