Not me, but different people put out salt licks and food, and over the course of a week, it has become a Disney freak show.
Seriously. Today, the sun came out just as a mob of animals came tromping in out of nowhere all at once. Things flew, hopped and scampered; i was waiting for Godzilla or Snow White to show up. It's too bad the crappy sporadicam is what it is.
I've just begun getting my birds back to my feeders. Up until now it's been a fairly mild winter, and I was getting worried. I'd love to have deer in my yard. They're all around here, but we're too close together house-wise for them to come in here. The only time I hate seeing deer is either as roadkill, or running in front of my car.
I don't buy this animal fact: "POLAR BEARS are the only mammal with hair on the soles of their feet. It helps them to get a good grip on icy surfaces, and also acts as a heat insulator."
I get the grip and insulator thing, but not the 'only mammal' part. Bunnies had hair on the soles of their feet instead of pads like dogs and cats. This makes it difficult for a bunny to walk (or even sit) on a hardwood floor.
i think it might mean hair on the pads of their feet but i'm going to have look at a polar bear foot to be sure. Their hairs are suppose to be clear to bring sunlight to their skin as well.
i wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of hamsters blinking.
