New Years Resolution Bunnies - Report! [More:] Today is Peace, Love, and Mardi Gras, tomorrow is a good day to double down on those resolutions. So how have you been doing?
I didn't make any, so I am good.

If I made any, I've already forgotten them. Which doesn't speak well for my progress.

Here's my report card:

I've lost seven pounds. A.

This is day six without smoking, and I think I mean it this time. C +.

Exercise level has actually dropped, but I am a light to moderate exerciser by habit, it's not like I'm completely inactive. C.

Days of complete and total liver rest since New Years = seven. Which sounds terrible but is better than, you know, none. C -.

1. Went nowhere near my January running goal (lots of excuses, no good reasons apart from being sick for a week) but did run more that the mefi challenge knows about.

2. Only drank wine one day. Yay me!

That was all of my resolutions and they were January specific.

I got married in January, which was kind of a resolution kept (and it rocks so far!).

My proper self-denial resolutions were held over until February - I'm now allowed one small glass of wine every other day, and no other alcohol. Feels good so far - slightly worried that I'd forgotten how good mornings can feel. Didn't think I drank *that* much. Hoping this will also result in weight loss.

I make birthday resolutions instead of New Year's resolutions. Much less pressure that way.

Except this is one of those big birthday years, so I'm feeling a little stressed about it.

I made three this year:

1. Get my own place.
Nope, still living at home. Currently attempting to save up some serious $ in case I do get accepted to start an MLS degree.

2. Organize my crap.
Kinda sorta. I was able to figure out my benefits forms and whatnot for my new job, which was awesome, but otherwise, I haven't really cleaned out much.

3. Learn to be an adult.
Heh, still working on this one. I do have a budget made that seems to be working, I have benefits figured out, and I sent in forms for my 2nd retirement savings thang today.

I'm calling it good for the month so far.

Was there a "Resolutions" thread I can referece? Cause I can't find one. Anyway, I resolved to work out every weekday morning and to bring my lunch to work. I've been doing great so far - I think I probably worked out 17/20 weekday mornings last week.

I've only been bringing my lunch for three weeks, but in that time I've lost three pounds!

1. Get back to the gym. A-
I've been going almost every morning, although a couple work trips interrupted things.
2. Eat real meals at our dining room table, with the TV off. C
Buh, we have not been very good about this.
3. Try for a "date night" or some other activity with my fiancé once a week. C+
We've gone out a couple times, but not every week.
4. Be more productive at work. C
I've gotten some things done, but still probably spend too much time on the internet.
5. Keep in touch with my family, especially my sister and her new baby. B
I set up a family blog that is helping, and called my sister on her birthday a couple weeks ago.
6. Make sure my friends know how much they mean to me. C
Not very good at this.
7. Organize my "crafty room that's not crafty" better. F
Haven't even started.
8. Plan and throw a wedding and party without freaking out. B-
I have occasional freakouts but we found a cool private club and are trying to secure the last weekend in our timeframe that they have still available. Have to depend on others (need a sponsoring club member) that are currently out of town, so it's scary. I hate being not in control.

9. Not on my resolution list, but starting last Thursday I'm on a diet. For the first time in my life. I'm tracking my eating and activities using FitDay.com. It's been interesting so far.
