I will try to be British.

1. Pip pip, cheerio, my tummy still hurts. It hurt so bad last night I missed the beginning of the 2nd act of "Little Mermaid" (not a huge loss, btw- will be interested to see what Brantley says about this one).
2. Work is wicked busy and I'm arse over elbow. I'm glad my new assistant isn't gormless.
3. The election this year will be quite a row! That both excites and exhausts me.

Out of curiosity, I took a short sample 'Britishness' test just now, and got the question about the Scottish education system very wrong, which is embarrassing because I was in it until recently. If I get deported, I'll let you know.

He's not so much "my" assistant as the assistant for my department. Of which I was the only member, until I hired him.
