You know you've been bitten by the interior design bug .. when you read up on the Amityville Horror house and think "awesome wallpaper!"[More:] Renovating an aprtment, for the record, takes way WAAAAY longer than it should. I'm really sick of it, mind you.
Try this. "Punk House" interior design over at the nytimes.

Hehehe, the easy way. ;)

God I love bold colors on walls.

Join the club, dabitch.....and I'm hearing poundy things from the new guy upstairs. If he's taking up the granite terrace and slamming down his own blocks of god knows what, there are going to be major problems.

That is some fine looking wallpaper, dabitch, but the best feature of the Amityville house is all the extra storage space available in the Hellmouth.

Those punk houses are all far too clean and not nearly condemned looking enough.
(lived in a punk house briefly. we were squatters, there was no roof on the second story bathroom. it was kinda awesome.)

“I’m glad the punk house is still thriving,” he said. “It makes perfect sense for young people who don’t have much money and want to make music. The downside is that it seems to me punk culture hasn’t really evolved or developed.”
