Yo, American types: The Super Furry Animals are touring the States very soon. They are very good.→[More:]
The Furries are Welsh and have even released an album in their native language. They've had 9 albums out and their latest, Hey Venus, is a fine piece of work. Here's some of their old singles:

I own 4 of their albums, have another 4 as mp3-s. Radiator, their second album is still my favorite.

Golden Retriever is a great song. Mats turned me on to this band back a few years ago. Saw them live in Seattle, and they are AMAZING. I will look to see when they're coming to Boston.

Does this mean there's a new album out? HOPE-A-HOPE...

Darn! I'm going to be in Argentina when they are in the Seattle/Portland area. (And why no Vancouver stand?) Well, at least I saw them on their last tour, and I don't really like Hey Venus as much as some of their other albums.

TheDonF, you know when I said I saw SFA and for the encore they dressed up in Golden Retriever outfits but they looked like Morlocks? It was just like that video (heh, I'd never seen that one, thanks!).

Hey Venus! is a pretty good album--I liked it more than Love Kraft (although that had some good songs on it as well, it just didn't hold up as an album). And the live show is amazing.
