Stupid thing seen on the Prius in front of me at a stoplight: A license plate frame that read "This car $tarve$ terrorists."→[More:]

I mean, come on. Not only is that repugnantly self-righteous, but it's not even remotely accurate.

Stupid person. Sheesh.

The bumper sticker on the back of my Prius says "50+ MPG." Just as smug, but at least it's accurate.

We rented a prius for the Christmas vacation. Drove down to Baltimore, around every day for at least an hour, and drove home to New York. $24 in the tank. Sweet.

I like knowing that I'm doing my part not to support regimes that:

1. subjugate their women;

2. and from whose leaders' mouths the words "death to America" fall as easily as "my fellow {citizens}" I saw a documentary about Evo Morales a few months ago; I'm sure that Hugo Chavez is saying the same things.

And yes, our foreign policy has been for shit there, but we are not the cause of ALL of their problems.

What also takes getting used to is that the gearshift doesn't stay put like it does with regular cars.
