Yes, in the same vein as "LT finally buys an iPOD", he's gone one step further and purchased his first-ever digital camera.

It's a flashy little Canon A570 IS Power Shot, and it's so damn complicated that it took me five minutes just to figger out where the batteries went.

But it does neat little things like make noises when you shoot, and other stuff.

I'm sure I'll be wading through the microscopic instructional text for weeks to come. But...now I can put stuff on the Metachat Eye and take pictures of my trip to California next week.
