What a nice present this morning – it’s so nice that bunnies are thinking of me. The previous year I survived by being totally numb. This year has been a process of gathering up the crumbled pieces that remain and finding some way to think about how what’s left can be assembled into something. I don’t know what that will be.

For me, the bunny-time at MetaChat has been a respite from the world – full of interesting, caring people. I can come here to see cute pics, get updated about current events, share in other’s trials, tribulations and celebrations. It’s a safe place full of inspiring stories, funny anecdotes, shouting threads and people who’ve made it through much worse than I’m facing. It’s a community, and I feel part of something again, which is very good.
