HL2/TF2 Peeps: Help me make a spray with an invisible background?→[More:]
I can't imagine this getting a lot of replies, but does anyone here know how to make a spray for Team Fortress 2 (or any other Half Life-ish game) that has an invisible background?

I spent three hours trying last night but couldn't get the damn thing right. I always had my actual spray be the invisible part, with the background (which should be the invisible part) showing up. Help?

Is this a stencil type thing? So you want only the black parts to show?

I suspect the fine detail won't come out well, since AFAIK sprays are limited to 256x256. I wasted a bunch of time last night before I finally got a ceiling cat spray working with transparency - hope to deploy it at the match tomorrow.
