three point status report →[More:]1. I pick up my new glasses today! And it turns out I had an $85 credit at the eye docs already!

2. My son in law actually called me this weekend when he wasn't feeling well and wanted my advice. Awwww, that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

3. My house needs cleaning. But I am going to the gym first. Priorities, people.

Oh, and thank GOD for preview. I almost put this whole thing on the front page.

1) I got the server properly configured for the email and i got the email working, and boy will the trustees be happy!
2) Found a control panel on the site I've inherited with numerous usefulnesses, including the ability to install a database that doesn't infuriate me.
3) Going to this later. There is a terribly cute lawyer and a vaunted science fiction author speaking. Will be recording for podcast.

1. My office is so, so, so hot. Have emailed Facilities asking them to turn the heat down but no joy so far. But I head home in 30 minutes.

2. I've had a productive day in terms of case resolution.

3. I'm hungry, but have to get in the car and drive to the supermarket before I can eat tonight, as I'm out of veggies. Bad planning, unusual for me.

1. I got up, got dressed, and put some lipstick on and volunteered this morning. I feel productive.

2. It's my husband's birthday today. I'm making him Boston Creme Pie for his birthday cake.

3. My youngest son has Fifth disease. He is doing fine, but coughing up a storm. He and my husband are watching Ratatouille at full volume. Could we turn it down to a dull roar, please?

1. Calling health plan regarding Mr. V's upcoming kidney tumor surgery.

2. Researching Philly hospital and doctor where our second opinion is scheduled for Monday. Making copies of paperwork from first hospital.

3. Needing to shower and clean house; writing questions for doc and info down instead. The rain outside pretty much mirrors my feelings inside.

3a. Need to pull myself together and get out of this funk! Too much to do to spend time wallowing in misery.

1) Need to write up notes for GI doctor's appointment tomorrow. Trying hard not to think about what followups will entail. Stressing.

2) Nauseous. Again. Tired of being sick.

3) I want to quit my job. The office has "updated" their technology system and made it impossible for me to get work done. I've sent email after email about this to my boss^2 but he hasn't responded.

3a) Too much other stuff to even think about.

1. The show I was given a free ticket to was NOT "Young Frankenstein" but was in fact "Frankenstein: the Musical". Apparently NYC is large enough to sustain two separate full-length Frankenstein musicals.

2. I went and got a free flu-shot upstairs only because I heard they were handing out Hershey Kisses.

3. Today is Improve Your Posture day.

2. Washer + dryer delivered tomorrow; construction people left stuff in the space which I need to clear out.
3. My eye is still bothering me--the stuff my acupuncturist gave me and the compresses eye doctor recommended aren't helping.

1. Kicking ass at work today, but having a sneaking feeling that's about to turn into Web-surfing and iPod listening. I'm really only good for 1/2 day of ass-kicking.

2. Got up and ran today - yay me!

3. Mrs. tr33 really has been feeling sick the past few days, suffering from some bad morning sickness. :(

3a. One of our arrogant directors just totally pissed me off. Dude, why in the fucking samhain do you think you can speak with any authority about communications when you can't even put a fucking proper sentence together? The fact that you get paid more than I, and what's worse, respected by your peers, makes me want to fucking puke and jam a red hot poker straight up your ass. And my AVP just agreed with me, so SUCK IT ASSHOLE!!!!

1. Concrete trucks are arriving as I type to start pouring the slab for our house (about fucking time, too!)
2. Wish I could take the day off and watch it grow
3. Have to spend the day in a seminar about how the executive branch interacts with Parliament. Not sure how I feel about this.

No, it really isn't, and I have a feeling the Frankenstein you saw will be closing shortly after the Broadway strike is done, and possibly before (for a number of reasons- location of that venue, poor reviews, underwhelming material).
