pokermonk beat me to it tho due to personal bias, I'd have reversed them

skiers / snowboarders
Japanese/Italian (road racing motorcycles)
Campagnolo / Shimano (cycling components)
cross-country / downhill (mountain bikers)
fixed-gear geeks / roadies

actually in "serious" cycling circles, it's basically everyone vs. everyone else, since cyclists of all stripes can be unfathomably ~~bigoted~~ snobby & exclusive... or perhaps "very narrowly focussed" is a better way of saying it. But then my limited exposure to motorcycling and auto racing culture indicates that those guys are just as bad if not worse
