They just gave us a new car in exchange for our old car! We had a 2006 Honda civic on a 4 year lease. [More:]The dealer called today and asked if we would trade our car for a 2008 at no cost. They had a client that wanted a 2 or 3 year old Civic but they have none. Knowing that we take good care of our vehicle they were willing to buy out our lease and get us into a 2 year lease, at the same monthly cost, on a 2008 and they covered all the fees.

It pays to take good care of your stuff.
Awesome, arse hat! What color did you get?

Ha! You poor gullible fool. You've been had. Your new car will explode and destroy you ASAP. The warranty will cover neither the car nor reassembly of the pieces of your body.

It happened to me once. (I got better.)

Never trust the Corporate/Government Complex. This is, after all, the Matrix.

That's awesome, but I'm a bit confused -- did you take out a whole new lease, or they just "upgraded" your current lease at no cost? What's the dealer get out of this?

(holy crap! the S2000 is expensive as hell in Canada!)

Whole new lease. No idea what the dealer got from it but I have been around sales long enough to think they are taking a bit of a loss in order to do a favour for someone important.

Very nice! I love Civics. I think if I ever decide to reenter the driving world that'll be the top of my list.
I was a die-hard Toyota fan, but they just don't have anything nice in the compact range like a Civic these days.
And you know they're good cars, just based on how many ancient ones you see tooling around (even here in Buffalo, where the salt tends to eat through cars pretty quick), and how many people upgrade their older Civic to a new Civic.

Inappropriate use of Homeland Security powers? || Anyone want to get together and try to start a private torrent site?
