This evening... They are redoing the road in front of my house and repaving it, but they are doing it at 9pm ... →[More:] isn't that a little late? So anyways I went to go talk to the foreman and see when the hell they were going to be done and he said "we are leaving right now." So I go walk around the block with my dog and see a neighbor across the street (the one being paved) to say hi.

When I get home I find my dog is laying at my feet chewing on rocks. I pull the rock out of her mouth and then I realize what I had done. Her paws were covered with tar. So I cut off the tarred hair, and wash her paws... still tar all over them. So I covered her paws with mineral oil and try to massage the mess it out for like 30 minutes. It worked - kinda. Most of the tar is off her hair between her pads and the pads themselves. She still has some on her, I'm sure that anything she licks off will be negligible now. At least I hope it won't get sick of it.
