Brief NYC update →[More:]
Yesterday the MO and I went to the Village, where we had a wander round the neighbourhood, ate a great brunch and did a lot of people-watching (I hope nobody was watching us!) Then we walked along the Hudson (it was a beautiful day), and up to Chelsea Market - what a great place! I never would have found that on my own.

I'm having a fabulous time, including lots of HMS* with the MO.

Awesome. I, too, have been having an inordinate amount of HMS*... although not with a mysterious personage.

I hate to interfere, but I don't see why one can't seethe slightly.

Also, why can't something be almost unique? That uniqueness is a discrete state doesn't mean something can't be almost unique, in the same way that one either wins or loses, but it's still OK to say that Lewis Hamilton almost won the world championship or that England almost won the world cup.
