Should I go? I woke up about ten minutes before I should have been at my crappy part-time job.[More:]Should I go? I called out once this week because I wasn't feeling good already. I called in and said I could get there in an hour. But I really, really don't want to. Arg. Hooky again? I have like 20 minutes to decide. What should I do?

*Before you opine, note that this is not the type of job where they are counting on me to be there, and by that I don't mean that they can call someone else in. I mean they wouldn't bother to. It's a call centre job and most days I'm lucky if they even notice I'm there.
I vote no. Plus, I HATE HATE HATE the feeling you get when you realize this has happened and have to make a decision. I feel bad just thinking about it.

Yeah, I decided to stay home. I'm losing my voice anyway and dialing all day will just make it worse. I can't do that because I have a big event this week for my other gig.

I also had a rough night, which I may post about later if I ever get out of bed. :)

I would say go, but I'm driven by guilt. If I'm expected, I go.

I guess it would depend on your feelings about the job and your responsibility to it. Do you want to keep the job? Are you quitting today if you don't go in, or do you plan on returning?
