it is probably germane to note here that Louisville, CO is one of those trendy suburbs where the ladies in the insanely expensive gyms and day-spas prance about with bottled water...

So would it be Fight-Club level irony if Eldorado started bottling Louisville's tap water and said ladies continued to spend $2/bottle for something they'd get out of the drinking fountains anyway?

people amuse me some days.
Many bottled water companies use tap water already. There's no law against it. You could start a bottled water company from your own home, if you wanted to!

I myself find all bottled water to be pretty silly--I can't taste the difference, and I'd rather trust water that was federally regulated.

Indeed. See Coca Cola's failed UK launch of their Dansani brand in 2004. The product never made it back onto any UK shelves.
