MetaChicago? How's the weather?→[More:]

I'll be in Chicago this time next week, so I'm wondering what to pack to wear. Any advice, Chicago bunnies?

Unseasonably warm during the day (mid 70s-80s). Cooling off at night (mid 40s-50s). But sunny. Bring a light jacket and sunglasses. Don't expect to wear shorts, but you needn't bundle up. Cooler by the Lake, significantly. I think next week is supposed to be more seasonable: mid 60's during the day and 40's after dark.

Warmest part of the day around here is 2pmish.

Excellent. I expect to spend most of my time in a conference, but it will be good to be prepared to wander.

Yesterday:
2pm, I was kind of warm in a t-shirt and jeans.
10pm, I could see my breath outside.
