I had a nightmare last night that a mysterious doctor was going to operate on my throat and lungs.

Then they came to my bed at home and wanted to give me the anesthesia early, rather than having me get a night's sleep and go to surgery in the morning. They argued that this way I would just wake up and it would be over, rather than stressing about it all night.

I completely freaked out and started crying and screaming. I've never been under anesthesia before, but I never realized the idea of it was so scary to me.

Funny! I had a meta dream last night, too, for the very first time. I dreamed that I met Pips, and I was SOOO excited to finally meet someone off of metafilter/metachat (I am the only mefi/metachat user that I know), and someone FAMOUS, no less (I even know her husband's name!). She was less than impressed with me, and was much less excited, actually, she wasn't excited at all. I think she just wanted me to go away, really.
I asked her to tell me how she says 'mefi', because I have long suspected that I mispronounce it. She never did give me her answer...
