01 September 2007

Just got back from a weddin'. If they say it's a dessert reception, believe them.[More:]

I have had more sugar today than probably the past month combined. Chocolate fountain, baaaybee!

My husband is so cute. He gets tearyeyed at weddings, and today was no exception. His mushball status is secure.

Did I mention there was chocolate?

Oh, yeah....the bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome, the wedding was super.

And, chocolate!
Posting while Under the Influence of Chocolate? Bun, I thought you knew better than that.

Was there deep-fried latte?

No booze. No deepfried latte.

But glorious punch fountains, and watermelon cut into little heart shapes. And CHOCOLATE.

NO BOOZE!?!?!?

Believe it, mek. Being raised in the South, I didn't know booze was considered a wedding staple until I moved north (to DC).

Yeah.

I have been to very few weddings where booze was an option.
You see, here in the South we have weddings at church, and the receptions are at the fellowship hall.

In fact a majority of churches here locally would think I was a rank backslider because I see nothing wrong with a sip of wine at my parent's house occasionally. (Thankfully my church is not one of them.)

Looks like Pepe Le Pew finally nailed that girl cat ... || Reddit has apparently declared itself anti-bunny (certainly anti-rabbit)
