So, not gay. He is, though, apparently a witch. Interesting. I wonder how the Republicans will deal with that little admission. Will they stone him? Too early to tell.

What a hypocrite. Gay people are bad, Republicans are the moral majority, Ooops, I didn't actually mean to plead guilty to soliciting sex from another man in a bathroom.

I have an unhappy memory of my 7-or-so year old son using an airport bathroom and being quite uncomfortable letting him go alone, but feeling that he was too old for the women's room. This is why. Fortunately, a couple walked by, the woman clearly understood my dilemma, and asked her husband to keep an eye on my son. So, of course I worried that they were a team of kidnappers. He was fine, of course.

I wouldn't say anonymous sex with same-sex partners makes one gay. Isn't gay about (love and) preference, not proclivity?

Of course, he's a hypocrite, but nobody would care about that if he weren't betraying the "morals" of his constituency. When these flaps occur on the other side of the house, voters shrug and say, "No big deal," which is as it should be.

It's too bad, though, that this guy lives in a milieu where his assignations have to be anonymous and covert (though public bathrooms are a strange place for top-secret brown ops); he might be happier if he didn't feel so constrained, and he might be better able to explore his own feelings if he didn't have to hide him.

That said, it's fun to watch them circle the wagons and eat their own.
