14 July 2007

so i decided to trim the hair above my ears... [More:]

Slipped and made a very noticeable mistake that went about an inch up into my hair...

So I took the obvious route and shaved my entire head. It really is quite a bit cooler without hair, even if my head is now two different colors.
A were-anything with a shaved here is just NOT RIGHT.

Ugh. I had a friend give me a trim right before I had to present to a bunch of Boeing executives, and he left an obvious notch above one ear. The funny thing is, this was the one haircut I got from him when he didn't drink. Now I always make sure he has at least one shot before breaking out the clippers.

Unless your hair is mad curly, kinky, or longer than 6", quit laughing, and get a Flowbee. After your first self-done haircut, which will probably actually be 3 or 4 progressively shorter trims, as you work out what spacer combinations to use, you get fool proof, clean, cool self-styling in 2 minutes flat. I don't even need a mirror, any more, and I haven't been to a barber shop in about 10 years.

This is the only thing I ever bought because of a TV ad that has actually worked as advertised.
